Steve West started building web sites as a hobby in 1997 writing the html code in Microsoft Notepad. At that time he was a sales rep for an independent yellow page publisher in the Los Angeles, CA area. As general sales manager for the company he created the internet division. The opportunity came to join one of the world's largest online directories as national sales trainer.
As the Internet matured most web site development companies fell into two basic catagories; those that build custom web sites focused on design, and those that offer a basic "one size fits all" templated product.
In 2001 Steve began doing business as Profits On The Web serving local businesses in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Today there are Profits On The Web clients in Florida, California, Illinois, and throughout Texas.
